Camping

Setting up camp went as well as could be. The early start in our day helped us to get things going smoothly. Gwen was a great cheerleader as she encouraged us with happy talking and funny faces.
Pretty soon others began to arrive, and we hung out around the campfire and played dominoes on a card table.
Of course while camping, meals need to be had, and Jed and I were given the chance to have breakfast duty. I made the coffee and helped to set up cereal while Jed cooked up bacon, pancakes, and sausage. Beautiful and tasty!

Then there was also some downtime, and Jed took advantage of the time to take Gwen for a ride in the hammock.

On Saturday night, we found ourselves driving to a local water ski show. It was quite entertaining considering these were all kids learning how to do fancy things on the water.

What a fun night by the lake!

The next morning, we left camp and headed out to CHBC for the morning church service. What a great weekend!
