One "Fest" "Fiesta" "Party" After Another

It seriously feels like party central in our neck of the woods. Not only have we had birthday parties to attend, we have also had social gatherings a plenty, and more are still yet to come.

It seems like at all of the celebrations, fun has been had by one and all, the old and young, the middle aged. It doesn't matter what the venue, good food can be found as well!

One mentionable 'fiesta' is the auction that we had at church on Friday. We had a real live Mariachi band. Though the selection of songs numbered about one, their quality of music and excitement were plenty. You may even recognize some of the key "players."

Our sombrero was once again put to good use with these two youngins' at the church fiesta as well.

And of course, there was a rousing birthday party for Gwen on Saturday that was wonderful. My personal favorite moment was watching Gwen with her very first cupcake. She was so timid at first (here she is just staring at it, not knowing what to do with this sweet masterpiece of a dessert), and then she dove right in, shoving the whole cupcake in her mouth. That's my kind of girl!

Who knew that the HUGE hat you bought in Mexico would come in so useful all these years later??

John Wallgren in that outfit made me laugh out loud!

And the pic of Gwen checking out that cupcake before devouring it was priceless.

This is what blogging is all about in my opinion...to tell of good times and fun events. The thoughtful stuff is great, too!
