Como Park Conservatory

We went to C.P.C. on our last full day in Minneapolis, and what a treat it was to get to be there.  I have been longing for any signs of warmth/spring/summer around Chicago, and I cannot tell you how good it is/was for my psyche to be engulfed in warm, tropical air in the middle of these gross lagging wintery days.

Upon our arrival, we were blasted with 80ish degree temperatures and immediately had to strip off our warm coats/long sleeves (if possible).  I had to wake Maja up in order to do this, but never fear, Ellie was there to offer reassurance that it will all be okay.

Green and lush everywhere, and frenzied fish to watch in small pond.

Still not so sure about the new experience, but overall she seems to be rather contented.

If you live in or around the twin cities, look this place up, go there, breathe in the amazingly fragrant smells, and get a small glimpse that spring/summer is and will come some time soon!  You can make it!
