"Big Park"

Last weekend, we went to a "Big Park" to see the ducks (and apparently geese as well). We had yet to do this classically American activity with our daughter and we had been holding on to a stale bag of bread in the fridge for an occasion such as this one.

When we got to the park, we immediately took Ellie over to the ducks (and geese), and it was love at first sight.  She kept trying her darndest to throw her bread portions into the pond, but who cares?  She had fun.

The weather that day was beautiful, and I enjoyed watching her get excited about the ducks as I never would have if I would have been by my lonesome throwing bread.
