Here they are meeting Ellie for the very first time. Who knew that the first time they would meet their granddaughter would be in a hospital waiting roomish area, but it was still a sweet moment nonetheless. Ellie had fallen asleep in the car seat, and we gladly took her out to meet her dear Grandma and Grandpa Bassett.
At the condo, both Gramma Lindahl and Grandma Bassett enjoyed fussing over Ellie and caring for her so I was able to go easily back and forth between the condo and the hospital.
Grandpa Lindahl also took his turn entertaining and watching Ellie, sometimes to help me get ready in the mornings, or sometimes to babysit as well.
What a lucky girl Ellie is to have such fine, dynamic, caring, sweet, and loving grandparents! Our little family of three is so blessed!

We're so glad we could be there to help you out...we love being members of the Grandparents Club!
So glad that you are home and on the road to recovery, Jed! Cam called and told us what happened and shared the prayer request. We've been praying for all of you three! And what a blessing to have such wonderful family and friends to support you and help out. :)
Congratulations! And to think it all began with a few letters during the winter of '73-74! (as "Grandpa Lindahl" will explain).
