Finally, spring has arrived, but is not yet evident to us here in lovely Chi-town. Luckily for us, we have another perk aside from the (hopefully) anticipation of the weather, and that is Spring Break. Spring Break is a heavenly 10 or so days that we can relax, recharge, in preparation for the final leg of the school year.
Today was our first day of break, and we have had a lovely day.
One memorable event of ours was to take our darling Oliver to the vet for the very first time. He went with ease at our apartment into his traveling bag, and he howled and meowed himself all during the car trip. At the vet, he was as curious as could be, wanting to be anywhere but the 'patient' table. He wanted to sniff around everywhere and reminded us of a molting parrot in the amount that he was shedding. He got all of his needed blood tests and vaccines. We were so proud. Our little one is all grown up.
While we can't enjoy nice weather so far, we can still get our kicks of adventures during Spring Break dreaming about spring.

Sounds like a fun time with Oliver!
Still are anxiously awaiting getting to meet the little character...
Hooray for spring break! We're on break this week, too. Hallelujah!
