Though Bassetts take a daily vitamin and have escaped the cold and flu season thus far, sickness has poked up its ugly head to threaten the immune systems of the unsuspecting couple.
Jed has been the victim of the scratchy throat. It came on suddenly, but luckily it left the same way it came.
Anne, on the other hand, has finally gotten a good night's sleep which helped her to feel that her systems have somewhat lessened. Her ear pain is being treated and ibproufen helps to make Anne able to function throughout the day.
Jed and Anne continue to take their daily vitamins in spite of their symptoms, and they are praying to see results soon.

Like Mama always says, "Drink lots of fluids, get lots of rest and eat your chicken soup!" Feel better soon!
It's those dang kids. You're teaching, right? IMPOSSIBLE to stay well-I'm impressed that you had been doing such a good job!
