9 Months!

I've been working on getting my act together around here.  Between computers glitches, being out of town, and other poor excuses, it is now the middle of August and I am finally getting around to posting about Miss M's 9 month report.

So, this little lady has been growing (phew!) up a storm and her stats are as follows:

Height: 26 3/4"

Weight: 17 lbs, 8 oz.

A snapshot of Maja (in words)...

- she LOVES to smile, laugh (especially when kisses are applied under the crux of her chin), and to catch eyes and "flirt" with others.

- she is mobile! Crawling has become her new "middle name" and she primarily chooses to get around army style.  She is fast and into EVERYTHING.  We never want to leave her around an open staircase in this neck of the woods.

- she appears to have strawberry blondish hair.  Even people we don't know have remarked on it, so perhaps it is not a trick of the light after all.

- she likes to say "mamamama" and "bababababa"  and sometimes "dadadada."

- she likes to feed herself (and lately we have been eating LOTS of spinach/kale infused items to build up iron - she doesn't seem to mind, thank goodness!)

- she just started doing "so big."  Usually, when she does this, she lifts her arms (without us asking how big she is) and waits for us to say "so big" while she beams proudly and repeatedly does this over and over again.  When we actually ask "How big is Maja?" she does not lift her hands and just gets a knowing look in her eye and smiles.  Funny lady.
