Sisterly Love

We've been catching some sweet, tender sisterly moments lately and it gives me glimpses of the future relationship potential that is to come for these two.

It has become evident, especially in the mornings, that these two are starting to have a special relationship with each other apart from their relationships with us. In the mornings, we will often catch Ellie talking to Maja, singing to her and giving her reassuring advice for the day.  A couple of times, I have also seen a toy or two in the crib that Ellie put there to comfort/give happiness to Maja in those waking moments before the alarm clock turns green and it's "okay to wake."

The other morning, Ellie asked for Maja to come lay with her for a few moments, and these girls shared a few giggles and toys, though not too much sharing because Ellie "...doesn't want Maja to spit on them."

Ellie, when playing pretend, has two babies to take care of and read to.
