We started off at the Swedish Bakery for some tasty morning pastries. I couldn't help but think back to my days in college when I got to visit this place every Thursday morning with a dear friend of mine. We would get treats and plunk ourselves down at Starbucks at the wee-morning hour of 6:30am, where we'd chat and catch up and make it back to campus in time for our morning classes.
Ellie seemed to be only interested in items that had sprinkles. I got a little video of her talking about cookies, but alas blogger is being a pain and videos won't post. Grrr.
We found the Dala Horse and had to stop for the ever-so-touristy picture. Our little lady was spunking it up on her ride, and couldn't stop posing and chirping for the camera.
Yay! Grandma and Grandpa are here with us!
On the sidewalk there was an "E for Ellie" in which we had to stop and scream (say loudly?) this phrase over and over, while standing on E. This really was an "E" at the end of "Art Sale," but hey, it's okay to be slightly egotistical when you're only two years old, right?
And then...it was on to the beach!
**Gasp - the beach in September?!?!**
