Home Again, Home Again

We're back again in our lovely home after some time away again at the cabin.  This time the weather was gorgeous and bugs were at bay.

At first, while we were up there, the entire Lindahl family was at the cabin.  Though it was only an overlap of everyone for about 20 minutes, we managed to take a group shot of everybody.

Ellie was hesitant at first about all of the new faces, but she soon took to the family and began to talk about people by name. She had a particular fondness for my cousin Karl (her first cousin, once removed?) and asked about him ALL the time.

Let's be honest; who could resist someone who romps in the woods, has golden hair with curls, and shows you the inner-workings of making muck out of sand and water?

After people left, Ellie would randomly ask where _____________ (insert someone's name here) went? We must've answered Texas, Massachusetts, condo, and Star Lake about 100 times each.  So sweet to think that people can make such a strong impression in a short amount of time.

What fun it was to get to catch up and reconnect with family.  Cheers!

It was a very special time, indeed! Love that picture of Karl holding Ellie's hand.

Hi! I haven't checked your blog in ages (don't bother checking mine, I think I'm still in Italy...). I just LOVED the post with the pound puppies shirt, and oh my, those dimples! :) Thanks for keeping us far away posted on Ellie's growth and your family!
