Keeping Cool

In an effort to keep cool around these parts, we have needed to spend quite a bit more time indoors during the day. However, this has meant that our late afternoon/evenings have been open and available to frolic outside in the backyard with gusto.

My garage sale rummaging produced this way cool step and slide backyard toy, and it has proved to be a great source of entertainment for Ellie (and us!).

Lately, Ellie has started to look like she is preparing to luge or something down the slide before actually taking the plunge into the water, and it is cracking me up!
