In honor of Chuck

I am dressing Ellie in a Covenant Point t-shirt today in honor of a wonderful man, Chuck Fraiser, who died unexpectedly late last week of a heart attack.  I know that a t-shirt on my daughter is nothing compared to the amazing life that Chuck led, but it is a visual remembrance for me today of Chuck.  Chuck meant a lot to me, and was a true example of what it is to be the salt of the earth.  He served whole heartedly, and was responsible for making the essence of Covenant Point what it is today.

As it is the week of Thanksgiving, we are unable to attend the funeral in the U.P.  However, we will be with our Covenant Point family in spirit.  Our prayers especially go out to Jane, Nathan, and Joel as they grieve the loss of their husband (Jane) and father (Nathan and Joel).  Covenant Point will not be the same.

God, thank you for Chuck, and the many things that he taught us during his life here on earth.  We know that you have a plan, but it is hard for us to know what that plan is.  For now we are grieving your faithful servant.  We pray for peace in this time of sadness.

If you would like to know more about Chuck, here is a link to his page on the Covenant Point website.
