Fall!

In taking advantage of the long weekend due to Yom Kippur, Jed and I met up with my family at the cabin in the UP. We had a fabulous time enjoying the crisp air and spending time with family.

One of my favorite feelings is that of a nice fall day where this is a slight nip in the air, enough where you need to get a fireplace roaring up. This makes me feel unbelievably cozy and 'tucked in.' I love it.

Though the leaves hadn't changed a ton yet, we were able to check out many yellows, reds, and oranges that popped up along the way. There is nothing like an open country road to take in the beautiful colors while you drive (though perhaps one might get a little carried away and lose track of the current speed limit in doing this...).

It was a little hard to transition back to school early Tuesday morning, but it is nice to have pictures and memories from the weekend to remind me once again of how nice fall really can be.
