Ellie did not go with us - she stayed back with MeMo and Papa. We didn't know if this would be traumatizing for her, but she handled it like a champ, and actually asked us to go to California again sometime soon. We brought her back a hat.

This past week has been a flurry of activity in the Bassett household. Jed and I headed out to California last weekend to go to a wedding held on a vineyard. We couldn't get enough of the breath-taking scenery - we frequently pinched ourselves to see if we were dreaming and were on the set of some movie. The couple of honor was radiant, and it was fabulous that we were able to be a part of their special day.
