Svenska F.l.i.c.k.a
We went to the Swedish American Institute a few weekends ago. They have an EXCELLENT children's area where they can dress up in Swedish garb and explore in two different areas. One area is of the homeland Sweden, and the other is a typical Swedish American after they settled here. It is very hands-on and kids are able to get wrapped up in both of these worlds as they play.
Ellie loved being here, and it was fun for us to be able to watch her in action.
We were lucky that there weren't too many kids at the museum when we were there. Ellie had a tendency to hoard materials and get nervous when anyone walked a little too close to her stash.
