At nine months, Ellie is expressive. She laughs, smiles, giggles when you tickle her neck or belly. She throws her arms up for "so big!" She has two teeth that she often doesn't want anyone to touch or see. She LOVES dairy - yogurt makes her eyes light up and shriek with pleasure. She claps, waves, rolls around whenever you try to dress her or change her. She fixates on and picks up whatever tiny item might be within her reach - leaves! She puts whatever she can into her mouth for exploration. She babbles, cruises around with her belly hanging low. She loves books and especially likes ones with gimmicky activities inside. In the mornings and after her naps, she likes to poke her head/eyes up just enough over the bumper and swoops it down bashfully when you go in to pick her up.

Happy NINE months, Ellie!
She's getting so BIG! She's catching up to her cousin Addison. I took her for her 15 mo check up on the 14th....32.25" (90th percentile), 22.3 lbs (25th percentile), and 90th percentile for her head. It's all the brains they have!!
So sweet! We need to get the kiddos together soon to play...
