They also got to experience a little slice of life here with us and our life here in Skokie. They visited both of our schools, walked/drove around our neighborhood, went to church with us, partook in several local restaurants, sat on our deck, and took it easy hanging out around our home.
Both of them were a huge help to us with our house as well. Dave did a lot of electrical work around the house including fixing faulty/backwards outlets, adding outlets in the kitchen, installing light fixtures around the house, put in a ceiling fan in our bedroom, and much more. Diane helped to cook a lovely meal, stocked us up on food and supplies around the house, and of course took care of our dear Oliver and kept him entertained and happy by letting him romp around in the backyard.
Here they are with Jed in front of his school.
My family came over to dinner for a night - how nice it was to all get to be together sharing such delicious food!
Thanks again to you guys for such a great time!

I'm going to have to say that my favorite picture is the one of Jed in his classroom.
1. love the tennis balls on the chairs
2. love his name in cursive at the top. hill-ar.
Thanks again for dinner together last night. Great to connect and see your wonderful home!
We enjoyed seeing the Bassetts, too!
As for a visit to Jed's classroom, put me on the list of wanna-tours!
Gotta see those tennis balls!
