Time was spent hanging out and enjoying seeing each other. Ellie and Addison got along really well, and liked to "help" Grandma. Here, they worked together to make some egg salad sandwiches - yum!

Getting to see our new niece (cousin for Ellie) was great. Ellie LOVES babies these days and was fixated on watching Callie. She later told me about how Callie got sad because she wanted her mommy. In reality, Callie was sleeping most of the time and was a cuddle bug getting passed around without complaint. The one moment that she cried is what Ellie tends to remember. So it goes.
We enjoyed a lovely brunch with Diane's side of the family. Ellie saw some Christmas trees and a "big santa."
(As a side note, we have been talking about Santa in our house these days. Ellie's most recent request from Santa is that he give her cookies and milk in her purse with green presents. Go figure! Santa has his work cut out for him.)
In honor of my Grandpa Elom, we headed to Casa Bonita to see as Ellie put it "man and woman jump in water - no monkey jump in water." This brought back many great memories from my childhood and watching the men and women jump in the water way back when. (Thanks for humoring us Dave, Diane, Chad, Brianna, and Addison!)
I can't quite get over how cheesy the "shows" are - were they always like this, or am I just older now and can recognize cheese when I see it?
