Lots of Snow

A view of our street after being hit by a blizzard on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. There was actually something quite serene in being captive within our house and neighborhood for most of the day. There were actually more people fellowshipping amidst the shoveling of massive amounts of snow than there were in attendance at our block party this summer. Go figure.

The excitement of waiting for the plow to come kept us (Jed) looking out the window in frequent anticipation.

And, of course we had to get Ellie out to be a part of everything.  She loved to be outside - eating snow, watching the mounds of snow go by, sitting on the sled were highlights.  Getting a hat, two sets of mittens, coat, snowpants, boots, and a hood put up were NOT some of the highlights of getting to go outside.
